What do these mean?
Sensor
Normal — the sensor is reporting. Not reading — nothing has come in for a while. Contact K&H and we'll sort it out. Not installed — the sensor hasn't been mounted on your system yet; everything starts once it is.
Filter
Learning — the sensor is still working out what a clean filter looks like on your system. It needs about half a day of heating or cooling. Nothing is wrong.
Good so far — still learning, but the readings coming in look normal. The clean number marked ≈ is an estimate that firms up as more cycles are measured.
Good — no action needed. Change now — the filter is restricting airflow enough to be worth replacing.
Filter index
How hard the blower is working to pull air through the filter. It starts near your system's clean number and climbs as the filter loads. The raw pressure reading in inches of water column is underneath it.
After you change a filter
Tap I put in a new filter. That tells the sensor to re-learn from the fresh filter. It takes two taps on purpose, so it can't happen by accident.
